PRESIDENT'S CUP.
Chrietchurch A defeated Boys' High School by 6 points to nil. The ganio was very fast and oven throughout. In the first spoil Jones scored a tiy, and in tho second spell Morrison kicked a goal from a mark. This is the first defeat High School havo suffered for two yeans. Mr R. W. Barry was referee. Christ's College defeated Merivale B on Collego ground after a very close game by 16 points to 8. For College, Cook (2), Davison, and. Fisher one each scored tries, of which Forbes converted ono and S» unci era ono. For Merivale F. Soanes scored i a try which J. Ford converted. .J. Ford also scored a try. Mr C. Read wos referee. Richmond dofeatcd Albion B after a very fast ond open game (tho play being chiefly confined to the forwards) by li points to 6. For the winners, Griflin and Webley scored tries, Dclaniere converting ono, and also kicked a penalty goal from half-way. Williams scored two tries for tho losers. Mr S. Binns was reforeo. Lyttelton Pirates defeated Linwood by 30 points to nil.* For Lyttelton, tries wore scored by To&swill (4), Puifter (2), Gillard and Read. Peebles converted three tries Merivalo A romped over Canterbury Collego. scoring 4(i points to nil. Trios for tho winners were scored by Sisson (3), Allan (3), Goodall (2), and Code (1). Cado and Hazel converted three each, and Soanos converted two and also kicked a goal from a mark.
