A PARLIAMENTARY RE-UNION.
4 (press association telegram.) AUCKLAND, June 7. An interesting re-union was held at the Paeifk Club to-night. The occasion was that of a dinner given by the Parliamentary members of tho Pacific Club to the 'surviving pest and present representatives of the Auckland Provincial District who have sat in Parliament, from JPoO until .the, present timo. Tho tota .number of Auckland members of past and present Parliaments who are still in the land of the living is forty-two; of these twentyeight mot. The Hon. J. A. Tole. senior surviving Parliamentary member of the Club, presided, and he was supported St the Hon. Sir G. M. O'Rorke and Mr W. F. Massey, while the Hon. George Fowids occupied tho vice-chair.
