MARKAHLE LETTER
LONDON, February 12
The Countess of Warwick contributed £I.> to to-day's unemployed demonstration in HyYle Park on tho ocension of the meeting of Parliament. She sent a remarkablo letter to Jack Williams, tho leader of the unemployed, in which she said:—"l returned my Peeress ticket for the opening ceremony when I heard of your march. How coukl 1 drive in the streets in satins and face tho unemployed?"
[The Countess of Warwick haa so clenrly shown her leanings towards Socialism, that this latest action of hers id not surprising. During the last election campaign she frequently spoke on Socialist platforms, and supported tho cause with money contributions.] (Received February 13th, 9.54 p.m.) LONDON, February 13.
Three thousand unemployed marched from Tower Hill to Hyde Park. The police prevented the procession approaching tho Houses of Parliament.
