The Marine Board found the Edenholme was lost owing to want of judgment on the part of tho pilot, Mullay, and suspended his certificate for simonths. THE NAVIGATION CONFERENCE. (Received January 25th, 12.40 a.m.) MELBOURNE, January 24. Sir William Lyue accompanies Mr Deakin to London. Ho will take part in the Imperial Navigation Conference. The other delegates are likely to be Messrs Dugald-and Thomson. THE POSEIDON RUSH. A ten pound nugget has been found at Poseidon. FEDERAL FINANCES. The Federal receipts for the half year were £6,388,691, and the expenditure £2,531,689. The sum of £677 was spent in relieving destitute Australians in San Francisco. The Tariff Commission has already cost the country £10,000.
