(freis association- TELEGIIAM.) AUCKLAND. December 21. Since October 30th the Golden Belt Gold Mining Company treated 735 tons of ore for a yield of bullion worth approximately £1333. Since October 30tb, the Tairua Broken Hill Gold Mining: Company treated 760 tons of slimes for bullion of tho approximate value of £241. HOKITIKA, December 91. A fresh gold find has been made at Rimu. where a prospecting shaft bottomed on gold at about a fifty feet lower level than any previously worked. The depth of the dirt is not yet proved, owing to difficulties in dealing with the water, but steam power will ;be utilised to oope with tha trouble.
