(PRESS ASSOCIATION TEI.KGHAM.) AUCKLAND, December 31. There was no work of importance at El'erslio this morning. Ghoorka, who arrived ,-esterday, was out, and restricted to easy pacing. Douche and Armistice both did good half paoe work, walking away without my apparent soreness. All the visiting horses have now arrived. * Sir Tristram and Zimnierman arrived today. Both 10-jk well, but the latter is regarded aa an unlikaly starter tor the Cup. Par.tutu has made a number of friends since his gallop on Thursday, in which be* 1 shaped well. Following the custom established at the opening of the season, the Auckland Racing Club will not receive any monkey for investment by telegrsph. \
