DROMORE.
On Friday evening a party from tho Dromore Literary Society' drove to Flemington to debato with members of the local society on the question "Should Women's Disabilities be Removed ?'' Thero was a large attendance in tho schoolroom, the Rev. Mr Patterson presiding, whilo tho Roy. Mr Campbell, of Ashton, and Mr J.WWart r son, of Ivongbeach, were appointed judges. Dromoro led in the affirmative, bring represented by Messrs W. C. W. J. Elliot, F. J. Hanrahan, and D. G. Webster, while Messrs Hambly, Doherty, Parish, and Woodhead, of Flemington, supported the negative. After an animated debato tho judges awarded tho victory to Dromoro by 8f points to 00. The ladies of the district provided refreshments.
