The Christchurch Musical Union will fivo its third subscription concert on < iiesday and Wednesday, 18th and 19th inst., in His Majesty's Theatre, when Mendelssohn's oratorio "St. Paul" will bo prodr."cd. Tlie choral portion has been in rehearsal for several months, and with tho largely increased chorus this important part of the work should bo given with effect.
