SHIPPING NOTES.

Tho Morayshire, from West of England I porta, via Australian porta, Auckland, and Wellington, arrived yesterday morning, and berthed at No. G wharf. The vessel has about 700 tons cf cargo to land bcr«\ after which she goos to Dunedin to complete discharge The vest-el will afterwards load at l»ew Zealand ports for London. The Union Company's steamer Kamoana m to sail to-morrow for Greymouth. The departure of the Wakatu for Cheviot, Kaikoura, and Wellington has been postponed until to-night. The Fcderal-Houldcr-Shire liner Devon is expected to arrivo here this morning from Timaru. After loading a quantity of cargo the vessel will sail this afternoon for AVcl- '■ lington, whence, she is to sail finally for LonI The Kini arrived last night from GreyI mouth. The vessel has a- part cargo of coal Ito land here, and will sail to-night or toi morrow for Wellington, where she will dis- : charge the balance. The Westport Coal Company's steamer ' Canopus finished discharging yesterday evening, and sailed for Westport. She is duo i back here about Friday or Saturday with I another load of coal. j The Union Company's steamer Kaituna arrived yesterday afternoon from Greymouth j 1 with a largo cargo of timber and a quantity !of coal. Tho vessol will discharge part cargo of timber here, and then go on to Timaru to put out the remainder. A schooner, supposed to be eithear tho -Jofeph Sims from Havelock, or the Morning Li'ht from Waitapu, entered tho Head 3 shortly after 9 o'clock lael night. The departure of the schooner Annie Hill for Greymouth, with a cargo of produce, has been postponed.until to-day. _ The auxiliary screw schooner Emma bims sailed last evening with a cargo of produco for Wellington.
