Wellington, on spot, £34 per ton, end business is being done ' ! in distant deliveries at the sa.;no figure. Tho stock ou hand is 869 tons, against' i 2559 tons for the corresponding period ; of last year. Fair current Manila on j spot is £13 per ton. Tho cocksfoot! market is quiet, with a tendency in j favour of buyers. American peed is ' freely offered. Tho wool market is : quiet, with no alteration in price. New J Zealand long-berried wheat on spot, ex granary, is quoted at 31s to 32s per ! 4901b, and short-berried at 30s Gd to 3ls od. These prices aro nominal. Now Zealand Sparrowbill oats, ex granary, per 3841b are quoted at 24s 6d to 25s Od, and Danish oats per 3201b ' are selling at 19s to 20s. The market is quiet and only a small business is doing. The market is firm for New • Zealand beans f.a.q., old crop, at 31s Od to 35s per 50lib. Tho market for peas is steady. New Zealand Partridge '•■ is quoted at 42s to 50s, and Blue at 30s to 40s per 5041b." AMBERLEY. Tho market entry of stock at Amberley yesterday was a small ono, about 500 sheep and a few head of cattle being yarded. Prices wero:—Fat wethers 20s od, ewes in lamb 16s Bd, ewe hoggets 17s 9d, wether hoggets j 15s 3d. Cattle—Springers to £8 ss.
