Black Friar finished many lengths in front of Tunnel after galloping nix furlongs. \ ictory (Sussey), Graduated. Tax (Nolan), and Cinderella (Swinburne) went once round ovei" the schooling fences. The two first named made the pace too merry for Cinderella, who hung out a good deal and tried' to run. off tt the croseinß. Each of the trio jumped really well, though Cinderella clouted the bank and brush* et the back of the course protty heavily. Among the other horses ■worked were the recent arrivals Crichton, Red Gauntlet, Landwern and Armamento. Nadador's near hind is caueing her trainer considerable anxiety.
