ELECTION NOTICES. THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF NORTH CANTERBURY. ELECTION OF COMMITTEES. THE EDUCATION BOARD of the District of North Csnterbury hereby public'y notifies that tbe Householders of the School Di«trict« of Alford Forest, "Barr Hul. Carleton. Charing Cross, Charteria Bay, Cooper's Creek. Eiffelton Fairton, Glentunnel. Ladbrooks. Lowcliffe. Malvern. Medbury, Rakaia Little, Seafield, Sedgemere, bpnngtieul. Springtton South and \V eaterfield having failed to Elect Committee* at the Annual Meeting held on the 03rd APRIL, and the Election of a Committed for the School Diftrict of Addington having been declared invalid tho Board directs that Meetings of Hou°eho'iders in each of the said districts be held on MONDAY, the 11th June, 1936, at half-past seven o'clock in the evening, for the ELECTION of COMMITTEES for such districts for the year ending with the (FOURTH MONDAY in APRIL. 1907. The place of meeting shall be in the schoolroom in each district. The number of members to be elected will be:—For Charing Tross, Chartcris Bay. Eiffelton, Lowcliffe. Medbury, Rakaia Little, Seafield. Hrdzemere and Wc=torfield . Five; for Alford Forest, Barr Hill, Carleton. Cooper's Creek, Fairton. Glentunnel. Lndbrooks. Malvern, Springfield, and Springston South, Seven; and for Addington, Nine. The Board turthor directs that the First Meeting of each Scnool Committee bfc held in the place appointed for the Election and immediately after the election upon the same evening. . The Board further calls upon the Householders of each of the districts to send to the Chairman of the School Committee, in writing, on •or before MONDAY*, tho 4th June, the names of persons being resident householders, nominated by them for tho Election to serve unon the Committee. Such Nominations must be signed by the Proposer and by the Candidate, and must be in tho form set forth in the Schedule to the Act, or to the effect thereof. In addition to such ■Nominations, any householder present at the meetine may Nominate any Qualified Candidate who consents by word of mouth or by writing to be so nominated. H. C.
