The "Star," in a lending article urging that stejis should bo taken to liavo an AiiL-kliiiid Court at tho New Zo«iland Exhibition, says that tho great majority of people have failed to realise fuliy tho magnitude of this forthcoming industrial bhovv. No previous Exhibition in New Zoaland has approached this ono in size, and it lias not been excollod in any jwirt. of Australia. "It Ik'liovos u.s, therefore, as a go-Ahe«id people, to consider whether we aro wise in allowing such an opportunity to pas« without demonstrating the magnitude of our industrial resouroos and the quality of our waive. . . . We believe it wonl<l bo a good investment for tho City Council and other local bodies adjoining tho city and in the country difitric'fi, to follow tho example set by southern municipalitkw, by voting a sum of money for the purpose of engaging spare for an Auckland Court in the Exhibition. It must Iks remembered that a very considerable outlay will bo entailed upon the manufacturers who enter exhibits, and assistance thus rendered them in seen ring the beet results for themselves and for Auckland, would bo a wis-.e and far-sighted expenditure."
