The management have been very sucowiful in obtaining a laig-:> number of new and ir.o.-t inU'iasting films. Amongst those may b« particularly noted a series'of coloured pctiii'cs illustrative of the wonderful scenery of Ceylon. This is said to be one of tho finest series yet seen here. In addition there are a large number of other miscellaneous ' pictures, notably iho fight between a mongoose and t\ snake. Tho humourous pictures am funny in the extreme, and as a whole, particularly as moving pictures just now are amongst tho most popular of entertainments, the season should be a sue' cessfu! one.
