THE EXHIBITION TOURNAMENTMr C. J. Payne, president of the New Zealand Bowling Association, Mr R- T. Wheeler, secretary, and Mr P. Miller. Mr Payne said-that as tlie Now Zealand Bowling ]iad assumed , the management of the tournament, it felt that it must also undertake tho financial rtJ-ponsibility. and that it r-ould not, nsk tho North Cantvrbury lir.wling CVntre to bear an equal portion of tho cast, but ho would be clnd to hoar if the Centre, had any suggestion to make on tho matter. Mr Wheeler remarked that it was (ho 3 intention of the Executive to regulate the entry feos. so as to caver the cxof the tournament as far as possible. Mr Barlow gave- an assurance that the Centre was prepared to assist the Association in every r«a.sonabli» way.
