(srECIA- TO "TIIK rRF-5?.") AUCKLAND. April 16. The Auckland Racing Club's Autumn Meeting waa continued to-day in fine weather, and the going wns gcod. The attendance was well up to tho average, tho racing was of an interesting nature, and several good finishes were witnessed. Race started. 12.1 p.m. From a good start Bully took up the running, with Eonomiana and Tr:phinc as his nearest attendants. At the five furlongs' post Trephine had displaced Bonomiana, and a furlong further on was on terms with Bully, with Haeremai and Bonomiana next. This waa the order to the straight, where Leonator improved his position, and in the run to the post Leonator won by a length from Bully, who swerved badly, and finished under the judgo's box, half a length ahead of Bonomiana. Race started 12.50 p.m. When the barrier was raised Pylades and Celtic were first to find their leet, and showed the way to Iho four furlongs post, just out from Loongana, Conductor, and Zimmerman. At the top turn Celtic was still in the lead, followed by Loongana and Pylades. and after a good race all down the straight Celtic gained tho jud_e's verdict by half a length from TJenuku. who oame up on tho inside, and beat Pylades-by half a length; Cvmrio was fourth and Zimmerman fifth. Once in the straight Isolt drew out, and won by two lengths from Luresomo, who beat Marguerite by a neck in the last few strides. Annette half a furlong back. Time, 2min 42 2-oth sec.
