EASTER SERVICES.

The usual Easter services were held vosterday in tho churches of tho city. At the Cathedral, tho festal swvices appropriate to tho day were held, and there wero large congregations. The Bisthon w.is the proacher <at the inoniin.2 service. A;t St. Michael's there were large congregations at. each of the servicea. The Vicar, Yon. Archdeacon Averill, preached both morning and evening. The chinch was prettily decorated. The chancel and tho font wero decorated in a very effective manner. The services at St .* "Joseph's, T/yttelton, were conducted by tho R«*v. Father Cooney.
