The "Daily Mails"' Lisbon correspondent states that owing to lack of discipline, the sailors on the flagship j>olll Ca.rlcs weiiio (refused s-hcire leave, and in consequence tried to throw a lieutenant overboard. On being prevented they insisted taat he should bo landed. Admiral Souza boarded the vessel., and, tinder the threat of tho bombardment of Lisbon ©r themkingof tho ship. promisod thio men that theofficers would bo changed. The mutineers only cemented to land after a, Lord of the Admiralty had promised, that they would not bo arrested. A similar, but smaller, mutiny occurred on tho torpedo gunboat Tejo. The officers now say that their prestige ia gone.
