ANOTHER ABANDONED

A terrible hurricane, which was accompanied by torrents of water and showers of red hot stones from Mount Vesuvius the si se of eggs, compelled the abandonment of Torre del Greco. Complete darkness enshrouds San Gerraro, where numerous fatalities have occurred. The town of Sarno is buried In ashes Most of the residents, however, escaped with their lives.
