A LOAN OF £92,000,000.
LONDON, April 10.
The St. Petersburg correspondent of "The Times" learns that Russia is isming * 5 per cent, loan of ninety4wo millions sterling, at 85. Banker* akme are invited to subscribe to the loan.
' France is taking fifty; millions, London, Amsterdam, and New .York four millions each, and the Russian banks thirty millions, instead of Berlin.
The sum of twenty-five millions out of the total is required to pay the recent issue of short-dated bonds. The balance" will not suffice to pay the expenses of the war and the famine, and to meet the deficit in tibe Budget.
[A previou* telegram was to the effect that the German Government objected to German banks participating in the Russiam loan, because it was about to issue a German Imperial loan of thirty millions sterling.]
