THAMES, March 14. The complete returns show that tho Moderate ticket has been re-elected. It was a keen contest. The highest candidate on the Moderate side polled 1140 votes, ami the lowest on the fame sido 1063. The highest candidate on tho Temperance ticket pollod 1041, and tho lowest 915. GISBORNK, March 14. Three candidates on tho Prohibition and two on the Moderate ticket, were returned at the licensing election. JDANNEVIKkiS.. March 14. The licensing election resulted in, the return of thm» Moderates and two Prohibitionists. This probably means tho resumption of eleven, o'clock licenses, and tho granting of conditional licenses. WOODVILLK, March 14. The- Prohibitionists secured four out of the five eeats on the Licensing Committee. f STRATFORD. March 14. i-e licensing returns are not yet complete. Little interest was taken. The Moderate Committee will bo reelected. MARION, March 14. The licensing election for Manawatu resulted in the retunrof four No-license nominees and one independent, and for Rangitikei three Moderates and two No-license nominees were returned. FEILDING, March 14. There was no great enthusiasm over the licensing election. There were ten candidates, equally representing Prohibitionists and Moderates. One Prohibitionist was elected, and the remainder are Moderates. DUNEDIN, March 14. At Chalmers four Temperance candidates and ono Independent were elected. For Waikouaiti all the nominees of the No-license party were returned. There was a difference of 150 votes between the lowest elected and the highest of the Moderate candidates. (SPECIAL TO "THK PBESS.") DUNEDIN, March 14. The Moderates scored an easy win against the No-lioenso party in the city yesterday. The latter did not work so energetically as the former, who also spent money more freely. Cameron, the last man on the poll, was on top of the poll three years ago, when no-license was the popular cry. A strong temperance vote was oast in the suburbs. This was also the case in 1903. Tho Moderates 'stronghold was in tlie city itself. ' . '
