Taylor, and the candidates for. the Licensing Committee'who support ten o'clock closing. An united meeting of tho Washington and Ridgeley Lodges, 1.0.0. F., A.C., will be held to-night ai- tho Washington Lodge rooms, to meet the Grand Master of New Zealand. Tho Photograph* Society will moot to-night, ir» the rooms, Dalgety _ Buildings. 'Alterations in connection with tho time-table of the Now Brighton tramway line appear elsewhere. The ram and ewe fair in connection with the Canterbury A. and P. Association will take place on Thursday and Friday, on tho Show * Grounds. The sales commence at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday. A free lecture, under tho auspices of the New Zealand Esperanto Association, will be giveji to-morrow evening in tho Normal School.
