NOTES FROM THE CONSTITUENCIES.
CHRISTCHURCH NORTH. Mr C. M. Gray's enforced absence from the publio platform this week has enabled his fivo sub-committeee and general committee to gut in much useiul work. Reports from all parte of the Ohristchurch North electorate indicate that Mr Gray is going to poll heavily next Wednesday. Aiessages of sympathy with Mr Gray in his illness have literally poured in during the week, and numerous offers of conveyances for the day of election have been received. The announcement that Mr Gray would pi-obably bo sufficiently recovered to be about again on Monday was received by the committees with enthusiasm.
