; OHRISTOHUROH SOUTH. Mr/0. H. Winny, a candidate for Chrisfchnrch South, addressed a good . attendance of electors, at tho Oddfellows' • Chambers, St. Asaph street, on .WodncsMr N. K. Bowden occupying tho chair. Mr Winny's remarks practically t corered the ground of previous addresses, and he reoeived an attentive . ■ hearing. On the motion of Mr H. Button, a hearty voto of thanks and confidence in Mr Winny was carried unanimously. Mr H. G. Ell addressed <_ meeting of workers in Duiidas street yesterday at „ mid-day, receiving an attentive hearing. Last might Mr Ell addreeod a well. attended meeting in tho Oddfellows' Hall, ot. -Asaph street. Mr McGloin presided. An unanimous voto of ttoanks and confidence waa passed on the motion of Mr Alfroy, seconded by Mr McOillan. At a meeting of Mr Hadfield'e committee held at Sydenham last evening, - nn»| *ixangementp. wore completed for tho Uireo remaining meetings of tho oam- . pttiga. Tho reports from tho various ,-.r / port-wiie of tho electorate wero, wo are ! informed, ■ satisfactory. It was decided to hold no open-air meetings. Mr James Thorn addressed a woll attended meeting in tho Waltham schoolroom last night, Mr 0. A. Eldridgo j ■ ]»"ig in tho chair.
