With a week to go it is perhaps hot 100 early to prediot the result of the Otngo elections, which should result as follows:—Dunedin North, Mr Bedford; Dunedin Central, Mr Millar; Dunedin South, Mr Arnold; Chalmers, Mr E. G. Allen; Taieri, Mr Reid; Clutha, Mr Malcolm; Bruce, Mr J. Allen; Tuapeka, Mr Bennett; Mount Ida. Mr Hordman, with Mr M.acphereon close up; Waikouaiti, Mr MoKonßie; Oamaru, Mr Dunoan; Cavershain, Mr Sidey; Wakar tipu, Mr Fraeer. That gives the Government six, the Opposition five, the New Liberals (Mr Bedford) one, and the Independents (Mr Mackenzie) one.
