There was only a small market at tho Rangiora market yesterday. In tbo stock ealeyarde tho entry was of 1200 sheep, l<lo cattle, and 250 pigp. Prices ware:—Shorn tat wethere fSs to 21s, sliorn fat ewes IGb to 18s, fat lambs to 18e 6d. forward wethers lGe 3d to 18s lOd, hoggete 15e 8d to 17s 10d, eivee and larnibe all counted 9s 7d to 13e, ehorn dry owes 10s lid-- Cattle— lieef equal to m to 23s per IOOLb, fat cows £10 156, fat eteers £5 2e 6d, throe-year-old heifers £3 12e 6d, yearlings £1 to £1 103, calves 12s 6d to Ids, springers £5 to £7 10s. Pigs—Baooners 31s 6d to 375, porkere 24e, etores 13s to 18e 6d, weanere 6s 'to 9a 6d. In the produce yards the prices wore: —Crossbred eheepskine 2s, ue (kl to 9e 6d, merinos 2e 3d, 4e 6d to 8s 6d. halfbred wool in teles 9Jd a lb, crossbred 9Jd, merino BJd, wool in bags 5d to 8d a lib, fat ljd a lb, horeo hair Iβ, calfskins 2r 6d each. Poultry—Roosters Sβ a ooiiiplo, hens 2s Od, duoke 4e 6d, chiokwhoat 3s a bushel, seed oats 2s, feed Iβ lOd, peas and beans 3s. grace seed 3s 6d, pig meal 7e 6d c. sack, seed potatoes 12e ttd to 17e 6d a, bag, Deiwent eating potatoes 20s. _ Tho holidays of last week have affected trade in grain. Recent prices were trtill quoted, the enquiry for both wheat and oats being good, but the offerings yery light.
