A. CHAMPION SWIMMER.
(srEciAi. to "thi rans.") WELLINGTON, November 14. Master B. C. Freyberg, a son of the timber expert of that name, will represent Wellingtdn at the Australasian swimming championship meeting at Brisbane. Although Freyberg is only 16 years of age, be has won 66 races, including the junior and senior qframpionship of Wellington College (two years _n succession), tho schoolboy championship (two years'in succession), and the provincial championship last year. He has lowered the 440 yds New Zealand record by 27seo, h_s won the Stewart Dawson silver roso bowl, and the Estall and Patterson cup, four gold medals, and numerous valuable trophies in gold and 6_tver.
