Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd., agents. The Union Company's steamer Roto__b_r_, left Lyttelton at 9.20 a.m. yesterday on an excursion trip to Akaroa, returning to port at 6.30 p.m. She sai ltd after tbe arrival of ibe 7.45 p.m. train for Wellington. Tho steamer Baden-Powell saiis this morning ior Akaroa, via Little Akaloa and lie Bon's Bay. The steamer Himitangi, in charge of Captain Clarke, amved at 5.50 p.m. y*sterday from Pigeon Boy. The vessel loft Poxton about noon on Sunday with a load of about 700 sheep, and arrived at Pigeon Bay about 1 o'clock yesterday. After la-ding th* ■beep the vessel came on to Lytte'.ton, where she is to load * quantity of produce for Wellington, for which port she will sail this afternoon. The steamer Kittawa loft Greymouth' on. Sunday with a full cargo of timber for Timcm and LytteUon. She is expected here on Thursday morning. The steamer Torgauten, with a full cargo of coal, arrived from Puponga at 3.45 a.m. yesterday. After leaving Puponga th* vessel met with a good deal of heavy southerly weather, and was compelled to run into Picton for shelter. She left there at 9.80 on Saturday morning, and arrived hero as above. The steamer Storm, which arrived —Ac on Sunday night from Wanganui landed her load of sheep during the night, and sailed at 8.15 a.m. yesterday for Dunedin. She loads along the "coast, returninsr here via Oamaru and Timaru, and soiling from here direot for Wanganui. The ffte_mer Wakatu arrived hurt evening from Wellington, via Kaikoura. The vessel did not work Cheviot owing to the holiday. Fhe aails 'bo-night for Cheviot, K_iko_r» and Wellington.
