TEMUKA BICYCLE CLUB'S SPORTS.

♦ NEW ZEALAND dHAMPIONSHIPS. Tho Easter Monday gathering of the Temuka Bicycle Club was held yesterday in perfect weather, and with a record attendance of four thousand. Unusual interest was centred in the championships, all of which were well contested. The arrangements reflect great credit on the club officials. The Temuka Band were in attendance, and visitors were present from all parts of Canterbury. In the final heat of the one mile handicap Waldie and McClintock fell, the former suffering a nasty shaking. Results :— Ha.f-mne iJicyole Handicap—Firat heat; M. Randrup, scr, 1; J. Campion was the only other starter. The four kept CiOse to the pacer until the lost lap, when the three plaoed men made the pace a cracker.
