The sum of £16=31 was passed through the totalisator. Results:— MANGAONE STAKES, of 800 soya; six furlongs—Wet Reef. 7st 101b. 1; Chivalry, Bst 121b. 2; Solution. Ost 21b, 8. Kaharca, Tomorrow, and Oawain were scratched. A good race; won by a length. Time, lmin 17 l-sth sec. Dividends £11 9s and 19s. TRIAL PLATE of 100 soys; seven furlons6—Aoranjri 1. Whataroa 2 Marseillaise 3. Aquilo. Mies Te Rin», Paper. Bandolier. Blink Bonny, Sir Percival. Mauru. and Otarangi were scratched. Time, lmin 83 4-sth sec. Dividends, -1 In and _?. Spoil took the" lead from the start, and maintained it to the finish, winning by two lengths. Roseal and Rapids were separated by about a head. Time. 2m in 39sec. Dividends. £9 13s and 15s.
