At Kirwec on Friday tho yarding numbered 2400 «hoep and lambs, nearly all being in the store pens, ewea with lamb*, and crossbred hoggets jjoxxlominating. The entry of fats numbers under 200, chiefly wether*. There wna a good attendance and bidding was brisk. A few lota were withdrawn at auction, but with tlie excep. tion of a few of the- shorn hoggets a fuil clearance was afterwards effected privately. Prices were:—Freezing wethers 23s 8d '(148 for Mf. J. Dysart), fat hoggets 20s, fat crossbred owes 21s 9d, crossbred wethera in forward condition 2ls 5d to 21a 6d. crossbred hoggota in the wool 15s 4d to 18s 6d, crossbred hoggets, shorn (ewes) 16_, four, sdx and eight-tooth crossbred ewes with lambs 14a sd, oil counted (Mr W. Cook), sound-mouth crossbred ewes with lambs 13s 8d (all counted), failing moutli; 10s 6d to lis (all counted).
