COMPLIMENTARY BENEFIT.
At a meeting of representatives'of both five parishes of the Pro-Cathedral and St. Mary's, .Manchester street, it was decided to give a benefit concert to Mr R. Petersen, who has been for along time pros.trated by illness. Tlie concert has been fixed for Monday, October 31sl, at, St. Mary's Hall. A committee has been farmed, and a considerable number of tickets Iras already been sold. Mr Petersen has a.lways been ready to give assistance in tho cause of charity, and it is hoped that there will be a liberal response to the appeal now made.
