ALLEGED SERIOUS ASSAULT.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION- TELERRAM.) HAMILTON, October 15. At the Magistrate's Court at Cambridgo yesterday, a young man nanved Herbert Pearson was charged with breaking anl entering the house of J. Benth and committing a rape on Mrs Beuth. The hiwband was absent on the night when the offence is alleged to have been perpetrated. Accused was committed for trial at the Supreme Court.
