OBITUARY.
MR JAMES HISLOP. (MIESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) WELLINGTON, October 14. Mr James Hisjnp, of Hislop mid Waiden, architects, who was found in the street in an unconscious condition, died in the Hospital at an early hour th» morning. DUNEDIN, October 14. The news of Mr' James Hielop's death was received with general regret in local bowling circke. • Hβ was hon. president of tlw Bowling -Association for several years. He leaves a widow and four children. Tlie news of Mr Hislop's death caused deep regret to a wide circle of Cforistchurch friends particularly amongst the members of bowling clubs, to whom, lie was well •known. He.was for a long while an office bearer in the New Zealand Bowling Association, and had attained the positron of President. Mr H&lop passed through C'hristchurch only a short time since after a visit to Dunedin, and expressed the pleasure with which he was looking forward to attending the New Zealand ?BowUng Association tosruament hero early next, year.
