The Coastal Trade Labour Council adopted a resolution declining to be bound by. any decision of the Watson-laaacs Alliance, declaring that the alliance wu» a direct attempt to commit the Labour Party to the fiscal question,' in.direct opposition to ihe long-«stablisb«d d«cmon of the party to keep the fiscal iswue out of its platform.
