HUTT RACECOURSE, July 14. Sir George Clifford and Messra Herries and Samuel, the appeal judgea of the Racing Conference, have given the following decision:—"We are of opinion that tha word 'hack' in the title of. the Diilmanstown Hack Race sufficiently implies the race was for hacka as defined by rule 44, and that the withdrawal o the word 'hack* ater the date of nomination could not affect the nature of the race. We, therefore, decide that the horse Argyle, not being a hack under tho Rulea of Racing, must bo disqualified, and the stakes awarded to Koromiko, who was placed second, and we direct that tho stakes be paid to the horses placed second and third."
