Lite Tied Houses Bill pasted the committee of the State Assembly. It provides that all covenants restricting the purckisa of intoxicants to one firm bo void. An applicant for a licence must satisfy the Court that he is not tied. NEW SOUTH WALES VITAL STATISTICS. (Received July 14th, 10.17 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 14. The vital statistics for tlie half-year show that rive birth rate has improved 3| per cent. Tlie deaths decreased 9 per tent., as compared with the corresponding period of last year.
