OPERATIONS AGAINST KUROPATKIN.

RUSSIANS STRONGLY ENTRENCHED. ATTEMPTING TO TURN KUROKI'S RIGHT. RUSSIAN MOVEMENT. LONDON, July 13. The three Japanese armies opposing General Kuropatkin have now emerged from the mountains, and will henceforth operate on tho plains by the Liau river. General Kuropatkin is strongly concentrating at Tangchi, between Taschubao and Saishata, and about eight miles north of Kaiping, whither tho left portion of the Takushan army extends. lb is rumoured at Tokio that MajorGeneral Tischenko, with 30,000 sabres, is trying to turn General Kuroki's right -with a view of reaching the Yalu. A considerable Russian force occupied a range beyond Motienling. Reinforcements arc arriving in tho neighbourhood of Saimatfc. It is believed at General Kuroki's headquarters that these demonstrations are designed to cover General Kuropatkin's retirement to Liaoyang.
