Judge Williams wax still unable to take his seat at the Appeal Court, to-day, but tire Bench decided to go on with the case in which the Eastern Extension Company appeals against the Commissioner of Taxts* claim to levy income tax on certain revenue's, which they claim are not derived from New Zealand. Judgment was reserved. There is only one case now left oti the list.
