NEW BRIGHTON,
About fifty householders attended the meeting at New Brighton last night. The balance-sheet, which showed a credit of £18 12s lOd, was, with the report, adopted. Messrs Macfarlane (chairman), Bellamy, Lightbody, Withers, Bargrove, Leversedge, Bonnington (secretary), Hannan,, and-. Caygill were elected members of the new committee. A motion was adopted favouring the teachers' superannuation fund. Votes of thanks were passed to the teaching staff and .retiring committee.
