The Kennedy tailed at noon yesterday foT Akaroa, via tho Bays.. She will return this morning and leave again to-night for Wellington, via Cheviot and Koikoura.
The scow Magic is loading a, cargo of produce for Wellington, and will get sway in the course of a day or so.
Yesterday morning the scow Ngaru was towed from the Gladstone pier to a berth on the west side of No. 5 wharf, where she will discharge her cargo of 70,000 ft of timber. Advk-0 has been received that the Tyser steamers Star of Australia, from London, and the Indradeo, from New York, arrived at Melbourne yesterday. The sohooner Lily, which left Lyttelton on Wednesday, April 13th, for Hokitika, arrived at the latter port on Saturday last. The Union Company's steamer Hawea, left Napier at 3.50 p.m. yesterday, with a consignment of 1540 sheep for Lyttelton, and should put in an appearance here about daylight on Wednesday. .
