There was again & very large attendance at ths Volunteer Bazaar last night, when the different stalk did f*ood business.- A new programme of marches, etc., was gone through well. Sergean) Sandford, who is leaving to-morrow nijrht to represent Canterbury in the New Zealand Bi«!ey team, was presented by Colonel Slater, on behalf of the No. 1 North Canterbury Infantry Battalion with a purse of sovereigns.
