Sir R. and Lady Talbot arrived and were met by the Premier and Ministers, and driven to tlie Town Hall, where they were officially welcomed by the Ministry and the Lord Mayor. Sir R. Talbot was warmly cheered by the crowds in the streets. He was subsequently sworn in. Afterwards he held a reception. THE PLAGUE. (Received April 25th, 10.52 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 25. A youth has been attacked by the plague at Parramatta. He was employed at a grist mill in Darling harbour.
