LAND SALES.
Messrs Guinness and Le Cren have sold for Mr Leo Acland, Glentanner station, consisting of 67,500 acres leasehold, 1825 acres freehold, and 10,300 merino sheep, to Mr George Murray, of Woodside; Mr J. Jamieson's grazing property of 1712 acres at Clarksfield, together with all the stock, plant, etc., to Mr C. E. Cholmondeley; for Mr A. S. Elworthy (as Attorney for Mr Thomas Hamlyn of England) the lease with purchasing clause of the Kingsnorough Estate, Claremont, containing 1141 acres, to Mr William Weld. They nave also sold the following Timaru town properties:— Mr Alexander Sinclair's dwelling house in Sophia street, to Dr. Gibson, of Dunedin; Mr James Strachan's property at the corner of Sefton and Theodocia streets, containing half an. acre, with brick buildings thereon, formerly used as fßeid and Gray's implement works, to Mr Thomas Teschemaker.
