Messrs Dalgety and Company have received the following cable message from their London office, dated April 21st: — The frozunt meat market is somewhat firmer. We quote Prime Canterbury lamb 32-401b 5A.d, and North Island lamb 4Jd to 4gd. Prime quality Canterbury mutton, crossbred wethers and maiden ewes 55----651b, f.a.q., 4£d to 4Jd; North Island ditto 4d to 4£d: ewes 3Jd; New Zealand beef, ox hinds 1802201b, f.a.q., 2jd to 3d; ox fores 2fd' per lb; Australian, beef, ox hinds, 160-2001b, f.a.q., 2|d; ox fores 2jfd Txr lb. Since our last telegram prices of merino sheepskins are at par to per lb higher; fine crossbred are higher by id per lb; medium by id, and coarse crossbred by id to |d per lb.
