ACCLIMATISATION MATTERS.

There was considerable discussion at the iweting of the Acclimatisation Society ou tlie closing of the season, and some members said they would endeavour to get it opened. It vran mentioned that the poaching of trout and pheasants was indulged in, but membere- would llbt give information to take cases into Court. Trout and quail are increasing, xind pheasant arc more numerous than for three years, despite, the weasels.
