Mra Chamberlain unveiled a subscription clock at Birmingham in commemoration of Mr Chamberlain's services to the Empire. Mr Chamberlain, in a nonparty speech, said the idea of visiting some of tho jireat colonies had been familiar to Lin-. *Ayan the (lay he took ollice, and long before the war was thought of he had hoped to visit and gain a closer and better appreciation of the Motherland's colonies, their mutual wishes and aspirations.
