REPULSE OF FRENCH COLUMN. United Press Association—By Electric , Telegraph—CopyrigM. PARIS, November 23. News has bewi received that a French column engaged in a fierce fight at Biraldi, in th© Frc'nch Soudan, and retreated* after a captain and six riflemen had been killed and twenty-eight men wounded. ■ Three hundred Tuaregs were killed and wounded. It is reported that tha Sultan of Kanem was among the killed.
