(PRESS ASBOCIATIOH ___*»___•* THAMES, June 20. The death is an_o__ced of Mrs John Butt, relict of the Sate Captain Butt, one of the oldest r*_id_-_t*s of -he* district. She csnio to Auckland fifty-five, yeai-s ago, aad shortly after married Captain Butt, and settled in tho Thames dis-triot. Her husband was a member of tho Provincial Council, and a"so of several local bodies. The deceased lady was highly respected.
