AUCKLAND FURNITURE TRADE DISPUTE.

AUCKLAND, April 27. Mr Tyson, secretary of the Furnitureworkers' Union, interviewed on the arbitration award, said the Union intended to sit tight, and hold to the position already taken up. It would lay tlie details before thr- Labour Unions of the colony, and see ii it is not of sufficient importance to warrant legislation to prevent anything of the kind occurring in the future.
